Dear LBD stylist,

Thank you for creating for me!

I've come up with some general fic and art prompts, as well as done some unmitigated rambling about how I see my LBD relating to other characters. Please feel free to completely disregard! I would be equally delighted to see a cherished rarepair you have involving my LBD, one that you've never been able to create for because no one's ever requested it. I'm hereby requesting it!

I also have a general likes post here.


Specific DNW for this exchange:

• Incest
• Ships involving child characters (e.g. Suika in Dr. Stone, Torakichi in ES21, Diona in Genshin Impact). Teen characters are fine (e.g. Senku and Hiruma, whom I'm requesting, or Chongyun in Genshin Impact).

Some general ideas for fic:

• Forced to work together, especially if the arrangement is initially uncomfortable. Or, one has to seek the other out for help/guidance.
• A introduces B to other important people in their life. Or, how B begins to fit into a previously disparate aspect of A's life in general.
• A assumes B will want revenge for something in their shared history; B wants something! else!
• For explicit fic: exploration of a new kink, or careful negotiation of a one-sided kink.

Some general ideas for art:

• Characters engaged in something domestic or hobbyish, such as gardening, cooking.
• Outfit swap or equipment/weapon swap.
• A cutting B's hair, or otherwise grooming/dressing them.
• Some kind of show of fealty such as kneeling or hand kissing.........

Dr. Stone - Ishigami Senkuu
Requested: LBD/F, LBD/M
DNW: Senku/Luna

A lot of dark things happen in canon that are treated lightly: betrayal, imprisonment, forced marriage, power differentials, etc. I'd love to see a darker take on how the characters are affected by these events, or even an AU where things play out in a more grim/serious fashion:

Spoilers for the series below!

• Tsukasa's betrayal of Senku, ultimate defeat by him, only to have his greatest weakness also fall into his hands.
• Kinrou's strict adherence to rules and fierce refusal to admit Senku, and equally fierce loyalty afterwards.
• Ruri: An entire line of villagers living out their entire lives as a mouthpiece to transmit Senku's father's message to him, culminating in Ruri being married off to him.
• Ukyo's helplessness watching Tsukasa's murders, and pinning all his hopes on this random outsider. I'm really fond of Ukyo in general!
• Just... this concept of people with vastly superior technology steamrolling in, and the huge, unfair power gap it gives them over those of this time period.

Given his behavior in canon, I'm happy to receive asexual and/or aromantic Senku, as long as the work isn't about his sexuality. E.g., I'm totally fine with incidental mentions of how his relationship with his partner works, but I wouldn't enjoy a plot that revolves around him coming out as ace. 

I'm caught up with the manga and plan to stay caught up throughout the entire exchange.


Eyeshied 21 - Hiruma Youichi
Requested: LBD/F, LBD/M
DNW: Hiruma/Mamori

Sena: For a relationship that seemed like it was doomed from the start, these two are surprisingly good for each other! Sena is terrified of everything, and Hiruma is just plain terrifying. It feels like Hiruma should be way too abrasive and overwhelming for Sena, but somehow with their shared effort and dedication to a common goal, Sena becomes more confident and Hiruma learns to place his trust in someone else for a change. 

Kid: Kid is brilliant, talented, and has zero self-confidence. Meanwhile Hiruma isn't particularly outstanding, but makes up for it by with iron determination and a willingness to go to extreme measures to get the win. They are such different people, and I could easily have seen Hiruma mocking Kid for giving up on his passions, but instead they just chill together and throw darts and chat calmly and dispassionately about the upcoming opponent that will probably kill them both. And Hiruma has zero qualms about tooting Kid's horn for him in front of Agon, when Kid can't conceive of doing it himself.

Unsui: I feel like there's a lot of under-explored commonality between these two. Unsui is the hardworking, no-talent foil to Agon - and in a way, so is Hiruma. Unsui has a lot of unresolved issues about being seen as inferior to his brother. But... Hiruma probably is probably even less physically talented than Unsui, and still does well for himself. Maybe Unsui can learn from that, and step out from Agon's shadow? And maybe being someone's first choice instead of his brother for once could also be a welcome change for him.

Shin: They have a conversation in the manga, from when Hiruma first founded Deimon as a team and immediately challenged Oujou. Oujou kicked their ass, but Hiruma promised that he'd find a light-speed runner for Shin, and Shin promised to beat that runner if so. Over the course of the manga, through competing with this runner Hiruma found, Shin discovered an actual love for football, as well as new motivation to improve his game. I love the idea that even back then, Hiruma noticed Shin's ennui and wasted potential, and decided right there to do something about it. Taken in that light, Sena's whole existence on the team is a tool for Shin's development, rather than the other way around.


Genshin Impact - Zhongli
Requested: LBD/F, LBD/M
DNW: Zhongli/Childe, Zhongli/Hu Tao

During the Liyue archon quest, I loved the picture we got of Rex Lapis from interacting with his subjects. I came into the city of contracts expecting a cold, strict god, and was surprised by the number of folk sharing stories about how Rex Lapis had personally touched their lives for the better. By the end, we know Zhongli is exhausted from a reign that it's not clear he's particularly suited for, but I'm touched that somehow, still, he's left a positive impression on his people. I would love to see more of Zhongli being an imposing but ultimately benevolent deity, and the mortals and adepti that he wins over. 

I would love to see Zhongli in his retirement, consulting, making contracts, drinking tea. I would equally like to see a more brutal and ruthless Zhongli than we're used to, during the Archon Wars.

Xiao: I was hooked from the moment we got Xiao's backstory, being freed from his previous master by Zhongli, his enemy, only to be conscripted into his service in turn. I'd love to see their interactions before or after this exchange. I'd also love to see Xiao's modern-day loyalty, hero worship, learning to fight with a spear from Zhongli, going on missions on his behalf, or jumping to his defense somehow.

Keqing: I really like the offhand comment that Keqing was the one who gave Zhongli the confidence to step back from governance, through her constant questioning of whether archons and adepti are really needed anymore in Liyue. I also love that she secretly collects Rex Lapis memorabilia...

Ningguang: What does Ningguang love more than mora? Zhongli is mora - you do the math! More seriously, I love the idea of these two interacting as Tianquan and consultant. It would be a new, hands-off way for Zhongli to influence the city he loves so much.

Azhdaha: I loved wandering around with Zhongli and Kun Jun and watching them compliment and complement each other and do their nerdy geo thing! Please give me a happy ending for them, or show me Azhdaha and Zhongli's first meeting, or just have them flying around together!
